Christian Kahl, PhD
President of FINCAD, the Capital Markets division of Zafin
A seasoned executive in the financial and software industry, Christian has extensive experience in leading global organizations and teams. Skilled in quantitative finance, capital markets and software enterprise solutions, Christian has significant expertise in technical subjects around analytics, software development, data, and cloud solutions. Christian brings an in-depth understanding of business use cases and regulation in the capital markets industry across sell-side institutions, hedge and pension funds, and insurance. He has a proven track record of delivering enterprise software projects, in addition to building and transforming businesses.
Russell Goyder, PhD
Chief Analytics Officer at Zafin
A former physicist, Russell has spent his 20-year career pursuing a passion for mathematical modeling and numerical computing within Quantitative Finance. He is a co-creator of F3, FINCAD’s patented next-generation analytics framework for derivatives pricing and risk analysis, and was most recently the Head of Product Development at FINCAD. Russell is now responsible for analytics across the Zafin group of companies.
James Gavin
Global Head of Pre-Sales, FINCAD Client Services
James joined FINCAD in 2010 and has held positions of Head of both EMEA & AMAPAC Professional Services. In these roles, James has applied FINCAD Software to build a wide range of Fixed Income and Derivatives solutions across all dimensions of Quantitative Finance.

James has worked on projects across all asset classes in Front, Middle and Back offices across Hedge Funds, Banks, Insurance and Pension Funds, Asset Managers and Corporates. He holds a B.Sc. in Financial & Actuarial Mathematics and an M.Sc. in Finance and Capital Markets from Dublin City University (Ireland).
